Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen Review

I recently read Confessions of a teenage Drama Queen by
Dyan Sheldon.

Mary Cep(or Lola,as she likes to be called) is a hopeless dramatic.
When she moves from New York City to Dellwood, she thinks all is lost. That is until she finds a friend in Ella,a fellow Sidhartha fan. They instantly became best friends. Also, Lola finds herself devoted to her role as Eliza in the school production of Pygmalion. But all these things seem to be put to a crashing halt when it is announced that Sidhartha, her reason for living, was going to split up.Her rival,Carla, told her there was going to be a farewell concert in New York City! They go through many trials as they try to meet Stu,the lead singer.

Overall, this book, was enjoyable. The only thing that I would say is that the back cover is very misleading. It leads you to believe the primes of the book is about her being in the play.Really, its about her obsession of the band and what she does to get there.Surprisingly, the book and the movie lined up ,more than what can be said for most others!Worth reading.I recommend it for teens 13 and up for mild language.
