The Notebook Review
I recently read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.
Allie Nelson and Noah Calhoun were once sweethearts. They met
at a carnival and were very close until they went heir separate ways. Then,a few years later, the reunited.Noah was still single, but Allie was engaged to a big shot lawyer. They started hanging out more and more and their intense feelings for each other started to rekindle.Despite her fiance, she still continued to hang out with him.Slowly but surely, they fell back in love.Allie had to make a choice between Noah or her lawyer boyfriend. Then, the story flashes many years later.Allie choose Noah,Then Allie got diagnosed with Alzheimer's and they grew older together!
Ok.The reason it took me so long to post this review is because I was fretting it.Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author, but this is the first book I did not like by him. This book is too gushy for my liking and I don't agree with Allie cheating on her fiance. Also, even if it was not so gushy,I still didn't really even like the storyline.I'm sorry Nicholas Sparks!

The Horse and His boy Review
Percy Jackson:Sea of Monsters review
I recently read Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan.
Percy Jackson's life seems to be pretty normal. The monster attacks have seized.Well, that is until a bunch of cannibals attempted to devour him in dodgeball. Then he had totally bizarre dreams about his friend Grover getting married,Then,he later found out that the walls of his enchanted camp were destroyed. He then had a vision that Grover needed to be rescued. So,despite the rules,he and his other friend,Annabeth, escaped from Camp Half-Blood.Not only did they do it to go save Grover, but to fin a golden fleece that would restore their camp walls. So,they set out on an adventure that included cyclops, riding with old generals from the 1800's and a lot more perilous things. But in the end, they saved Grover and the camp!
Percy Jackson is a great series!I love Rick Riordan and his work.I thoroughly enjoyed taking an action packed journey with each and everyone of his characters! As well as enjoying his work,I loved learning a little more about Greek mythology!

The Lucky one review
I recently reaad The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.
Logan Thibault is on a mission. When he was on a tour in Iraq,he finds a picture of a beautiful lady.He starts carrying it around with him, giving him great luck. For example, when all his friends got killed or hurt he was fine.So he went on a five year journey to find the girl in the picture. It took him from Colorado to North Carolina, which he made all by foot.He found out the lady's name was Beth. She ran a kennel and had a son named Ben.In order to be closer to her,he took a job at her kennel and got an apartment in town. After warming up to each other, they both realized their intense feelings for each other. But her ex husband,Keith, would do anything to break them up.But the whole time Logan and Beth were together,he never told her about the photo. So in hopes of ruining their relationship, her ex husband told her of the photo. At first she was mad at Logan,bu then she forgave him.One evening, while Keith dropped off Ben,she was put in a very awkward position by him.Ben saw this and ran off to his refuge, his tree house. This was not good because there was major flooding. In order to save his son,Keith died for him.
I love this book! The plot is very original and I think the characters are definitely relatable!I love Nick Sparks and think this book is very underrated!

Narnia:Lion,the Which,the Wardrobe Review
I recently read Narnia:Lion,the Which,and the Wardrobe by C.S.
Lewis.
The Pevensie kids,Peter,Susan,Edmund, and Lucy are sent to to home of the Professor due to the war.The home is very big, with lot of room to play. One day, they were playing hide and seek.Lucy hid in a wardrobe. When she went all the to the back of it, she found herself in a snowy wonderland. There was a fawn she met there named Mr.Tumnus.They had tea for several hours. But when she returned, time was not moved a minute at all.And when she told the others of this odd land,no one believed her.But when he was alone,Edmund decided to go and have a look for himself. Then, that's were he met the evil White Which. She told him if he could bring his brother and sister, she'd give him more Turkish Delight.(It's a bad thing because she is going to kill them, giving Narnia, who has eternal winter,no hope whatsoever.)But there was a Lion, who was the true leader of Narnia, the great and all powerful,Aslan. When they found out Edmund betrayed Narnia, they sentenced him to death. But the great lion,Aslan, took his place.Susan and Lucy watched the grueling, sad death. But then something amazing happened!Aslan resurrected from the dead! Then he helped Narnia defeat the White Which!!
I liked this book because it whisks you to magical new worlds. Also, there are great morals to the story.
