Narnia:Prince Caspian Review

I recently read Price Caspian by C.S. Lewis.
One day,Lucy,Edmund Susan and Peter Pevensie were going on a train ride to school when all of a sudden they were whisked back to Narnia, where they once ruled. But things changed.Animals no longer
talked and trees were no longer free.Price Caspian was at war with his uncle Miraz. They are lead by a dwarf named Trumpkin. On their way,Lucy thought she saw their beloved Aslan and that he was telling her to follow him. When she told the others, but no one believed her at first. Then they followed her and saw Aslan for themselves. After a few battles,Aslan set them free!
I love these books!C.S. Lewis is so creative for making up all these characters and places purely out of his whole mind!I loved the way the characters related to each other!(Human or not!)

The Horse and His boy Review

I recently read The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis.
Shasta is the son of a fisherman who wants to sell him into slavery. So,Shasta decides to run away. That is when he discovered horse named Bree that could talk and also was from Narnia. So,they set out north. But they were not alone.Someone was following them,They discovered it was a girl and her horse, who also were running away. Her father was trying to force her into marriage. So,they all decided to take the journey together. They dressed in ragged clothes so they would not be recognized. But when they got to the city gates, the guards mistook Shasta for royalty. But,he soon met the real prince, who looked a lot like him. So,Shasta was able to escape. When he did,he realized he was at the place he was to meet the others if they got separated. He waited and waited for them, but they never came. But little did he know,Aravis the girl who traveled with him,was with her old royal pal,Lasaraleen. They tried to disguise her so nobody in the area would notice her. They hid in a hidden room for quite some time. Then, the both parted ways.Eventually, she reunited with the rest of them and they continued north. They traveled through a barren desert. And despite their udder tiredness, they made it to their destination:Anvard. But,when they got there, a lion attacked Aravis, wounding her greatly.Everyone but Aravis was lucky enough to escape.Later, when Shasta was riding,he heard a voice, which he later discovered was Aslan,Narnia's ruler. He was in Narnia, where he dined with dwarfs. In the end,he was called to battle.Even though he had no clue whatsoever about warfare, they still won the war!
I love the Narnia series!I think this book teaches a lot about valuable things like being humble, loyalty, and teamwork!I also liked the places they characters travelled, even though you might not always know where that place is!Lewis' mind is so creative! He is my second favorite author,(next to Nicholas Sparks!^_^)

The Pevensie kids,Peter,Susan,Edmund, and Lucy are sent to to home of the Professor due to the war.The home is very big, with lot of room to play. One day, they were playing hide and seek.Lucy hid in a wardrobe. When she went all the to the back of it, she found herself in a snowy wonderland. There was a fawn she met there named Mr.Tumnus.They had tea for several hours. But when she returned, time was not moved a minute at all.And when she told the others of this odd land,no one believed her.But when he was alone,Edmund decided to go and have a look for himself. Then, that's were he met the evil White Which. She told him if he could bring his brother and sister, she'd give him more Turkish Delight.(It's a bad thing because she is going to kill them, giving Narnia, who has eternal winter,no hope whatsoever.)But there was a Lion, who was the true leader of Narnia, the great and all powerful,Aslan. When they found out Edmund betrayed Narnia, they sentenced him to death. But the great lion,Aslan, took his place.Susan and Lucy watched the grueling, sad death. But then something amazing happened!Aslan resurrected from the dead! Then he helped Narnia defeat the White Which!!

I liked this book because it whisks you to magical new worlds. Also, there are great morals to the story.
