Hardy Boys:Killer Mission review

I recently read Hardy Boys:Killer Mission by Franklin W Dixon.

ATCA(American teens agianst crime) prime agents,Joe and Franks Hardy are sent to Willis Firth (all boys)acadamey to investigate the most popular frat,Gamma Theta Theta.Joe was undercover as the school dog trainer,while Frank was a full time student.They met some interesting people.One of them was Destiny Darity,the only girl who happened to be the headmasters daughter.She went to Willis Firth because she got kicked out of all the other good private schools.She seemed rough,but was some what kind to them.After that,the frat had another hazing.The bet was whoever could get the headmasters toilet seat would be able to boss all the other pledges around.But when Lewis McPherson Jr. opened the lid,it exploded,killing him!This and other less major events made the headmaster suspended Gamma Theta Theta until all that subsided But despite the suspension,they still hazed and did other things.The dog Joe was training,Killer,Led them to something disturbing.One of the students and his father where in the woods.The kid had a knife,and looked like he was going to kill his father.But he wasn't.He was going to kill himself,or at least harm himself so he wouldn't have to be a part of the frat.

I recently read Hardy Boys:Bayport Buccaneers by Franklin W

Dixon.

A popular TV show called Buccaneers comes to the Hardy

boys hometown,Bayport.Their spy agency said they were to be undercover as contestants to investigate a series of mishaps and even deaths!Fortunately,the agency gave them a pass that let them get through without auditioning.When they got there,they met the production crew.Straight away,they realized how everyone wanted their fifteen minutes of fame.The first challenge involved climbing up a wall using a rope.To add to the excitement,the boy's sworn enemy,Brian Conrad,was out to get them.While Frank was climbing,the rope snapped!Luckily,he wasn't harmed,but the shows reputation might have been.Later,they meet Samantha Olsen,the daughter of a dead contestant.It was obvious she was still upset about her fathers death.The next challenge was to run through an electrical eel obstacle course.But something went wrong,killing a contestant.When the final challenge came around,the finalists go to a artificial island were they find "hidden treasures" prizes.But when they try to find it,they find out someone is posing for Samantha.The poser tried to kill them by running them over with a boat.They find out in the end that Samantha is responsible for all the crimes.

This book is filled with lots of action!

Hoot review

I recently read Hoot by Carl Hiaasen.

Roy Eberhardt is used to being the new kid,along with the bullyng that comes with it.One day,Roy's arch enemy,Dana Matherson,smashed his head into the to the school bus window.Normally,this wouldn't have minded,but that is how he saw the stranger.He had no shoes.No backpack.He didn't go to school even.Roy wondered who he was.So,he decided to follow him instead of go to school.When he did,he found out his name was Mulletfingers.He got this nickname because he could catch mullet fish with his bare hands.He also found out he was the brother to his fellow classmate,Beatrice.Another thing he discovered is that They were trying shut down Mother Paula's pancake house by vandalising and trying to prevent the building because it would kill a bunch of owls that lived there.With many run ins with the police,they did save them and formed a friendship in the process.

I liked this book because it showed how our choices may effect people and we might not even know it.

Nancy Drew:Orchid Thief review

I recently read Nancy Drew:Orchid Thief by Carolyn Keene.

Nancy and her best friends,George and Bess are going to Florida to help their friend,Delilah,capture a poacher of a ever so rare butterfly

orchid.Bess and Nancy are happy to help her find him or her.But George would much rather stay behind and discover sunken goods with her pals,the Salazars from the Catarina.So,George went with them to find the goods,while Nancy and Bess helped their friend Dehlia with the poaching mystery. While they were exploring on the

river,they saw a big red boat that had orchids in it.The driver looked a lot like Dehlia's boyfriend,Steve.So,he was put on the suspect list.Another prime suspect was Chick Russel.He met Nancy when she first arrived at the national park.He was a grouchy man.When Nancy investigated him,she found out he worked at a local flee market.When she looked at his booth,he was selling the butterfly orchids,which was illegal.Nancy's two and only suspects were him and Steve.Again,Nancy decided to investigate Chick.So when she went to his house,she heard George's voice.But later,she found out the boat George was working on had been bugged!Steve was the one that bugged it.Turns out,all Chick wanted after all was the treasure.Good eventually prevailed over evil.

I love Nancy Drew!She is smart and witty!Definitely worth the read!

I just wanted to let all my readers(if I have very many..i love the people who do) know that I 100% read these books thorough,front to cover.I never copy off the backs or watch the movies(because we all know the books are way off most times.)

People of Sparks review

I recently read People of Sparks by Jeanne Duprau.

The people of Ember have finally reached the "Promised Land" otherwise known as Sparks.The leaders of Sparks reluctantly helped them by giving them food and shelter.But after awhile,the people of Sparks grew tired of helping them.Their host family's started giving them less,lower quality food.Lina stayed at Dr.Hester's house,while Doon stayed at the run down Pioneer hotel.At Lina's house ,there was a horrible,lonely boy named Torren.He had an older brother,Casper,that was a salesman in distant places.Torren was excited because Casper would come home and give him a gift from his travels.But instead of bringing him a treasure,he introduced them to his traveling partner,Maddy. To add to the fire,he told Lina she'd make a great traveler someday.This made Torren so upset,he smashed several carts of precious tomatoes on a wall and blamed Doon.Because of that,the people of Sparks and Ember turned violent to one another.Meanwhile,Lina hitched a ride with Casper and Maddy in hopes to see a new city they were going to see.She always imagined it to be spectacular.But when they got there,they found the land deserted.So when Casper went to explore it,Lina and Maddy escaped back to Sparks.They saw all the war and hate.They did things that would only hurt,not help whatsoever.But then,Doon made a discovery that would change all that forever.He found out out that the peoples leader,Tick framed the people of Sparks to make it look like they wanted war.They realized it was all a misunderstanding and they forgave one another!

I love the City of Ember series! If you are the type of person who likes to travel to different worlds when you read,this is for you!

Hardy boys Martial law review

I recently read Hardy Boys:Martial Law by Franklin W Dixon.

The Rising Phoenix is a popular martial arts school. But there is some suspicious,violent behavior.So, A.T.C.A.(American Teens Against Crime) prime agents,Frank and Joe Hardy, are sent to be undercover karate.When they arrive,the meet the head,Sensei Paul Huang.During their orientation,they realized there were a lot of scrawny people there,too.They also heard heard Finn Campbell,the co-owner threting a student.One of their best friends,Chet,always tried to get on his good side.So they decided to follow him,which led them to the California Diner.But instead of following Chet,they saw someone get mugged!They tried to save him,but failed.The next day,Joe snuck into the Sensei's office,and discovered a package containing "herbal pills."But after eavesdropping,they found out they were really steroids.Sensei Huang was held responsible along with his accomplices.

This is a good read if you like Karate and lots and lots of action! HIYA!
